4/19/2023 0 Comments Assassins creed cyndicateThe game continues to reward you, and there are many fun little tidbits. The controls, could be a touch more seamless, but it's SOOOO easy to learn. It is rather morbid, but it's part of their creed.Įvie and Jacob are both lovable, and even if you don't love them immediately they will absolutely grow on you. Jacob and Evie do collect the blood of their victims on handkerchiefs during the cutscenes after the target dies. The most graphic parts are the cutscenes, but even that is rather mild. When you kill enemies, there is a tiny pool of blood near their body. I think the violence is rather mild, for being a game where you play as an assassin. Jacob does in fact call someone a "pr***" in a cutscene, as well as another person a "ba*****". "S***", "bloody hell", and "God D******" are used fairly regularly by both NPCs and Jacob - though I recall G-D only being used once by Ned. ![]() The f-bomb isn't in the cut scenes, however, so there is no debate there. It's debatable - you'd have to look at a script. They do say "muck" because it's slang that is period and geographically appropriate to the game, and perhaps I misheard a certian swear word and thought they said "muck". "You'd better back off!" could have very well been an inappropriate phrase, and I just didn't hear it as it was intended. Their accents make it a little tricky to discern. HOWEVER, there are many phrases used by various Templar/Blighters that could have been the f-bomb and I didn't catch it. No, I personally did not hear the f-bomb. I'll start with the negative, but there is SO MUCH positivity in this game. Listen, I'm going to be frank and honest in this review. It in no way glamourises crime, quite the opposite actually- it shows the mess is makes with the police, and the reality of it all. In the game (like the other AC games) hurting civilians or innocent people is STRONGLY disadvised which i think is good. If you're child's in high school they'd be fine with it. f bombs and damn and hell are thrown around occasionally aswell as the rare b-stard. ![]() The language was very infrequent but quite strong. There's punching and kicking a few slashes of a dagger, but it's not bad James Bond was worse XD. ![]() Honestly though, if your child has watched any of the Marvel films they've seen violence like it is in this game. The blood is cartoony looking and can be switched off in settings. As someone who's lived in London since the 70s i have to say it shows a very realistic portrayal of the city ( i obviously wasn't alive in the Industrial Period) it's visually stunning, the detail from the market stalls to the guards clothes, magical. I've been watching my kids play this for a couple of weeks, ( I even had a go myself!) and i have to say, it's a really fun game! I'm not normally one for videogames but even i enjoyed this one.
